Telehealth Doctor – Remote Clinical Consultations

About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced Doctors and General Practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. This independent contractor position allows you to work from anywhere, set your own hours, and deliver high‑quality care using a secure, technology‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.
• Prescribe medications securely through a two‑factor authenticated system.
• Document encounters using the platform’s AI‑assisted note‑taking tools.
• Utilise My Health Records and InstantScripts’ clinical knowledge bank to inform decisions.
• Adhere to rigorous clinical standards and governance set by Wesfarmers Health and Boards.

Required profile

• Australian work rights (no sponsorship).
• Current AHPRA registration without restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience in General Medicine or General Practice.
• Availability for at least 7‑10 rostered hours per week.
• Residency in Australia.
• Strong communication and comfort with technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems (My Health Records).
• Experience using AI‑enabled clinical documentation tools.
• Ability to navigate a secure telehealth platform with two‑factor authentication.
