About the role

InstantScripts is looking for experienced General Practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. This independent contractor role lets you work from anywhere in the country, set your own hours, and deliver high‑quality care using a secure, technology‑rich platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.
• Prescribe medications securely through a two‑factor authenticated system.
• Document encounters using My Health Records and AI‑assisted note‑taking tools.
• Adhere to rigorous clinical standards and governance backed by Wesfarmers Health.
• Participate in the InstantScripts medical community for peer support and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Fellow/VR GP, GP Registrar, or hospital‑based doctor willing to work in Australia.
• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience and ability to commit at least 15 rostered hours per week.
• Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship available).
• Strong communication skills and comfort with fast‑paced technology environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms.
• Experience using My Health Records.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted clinical documentation tools.
