About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced Doctors and General Practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. This independent contractor position allows you to work from anywhere in the country, setting your own hours while delivering high‑quality, safe medical care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations using InstantScripts’ telehealth platform.
• Adhere to rigorous clinical standards and governance backed by Wesfarmers Health.
• Prescribe securely with two‑factor authentication and ISMS 27001‑accredited systems.
• Document encounters in My Health Records and leverage AI tools for note‑taking.
• Collaborate with a network of doctors for clinical support and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Australian work rights (no sponsorship).
• Current AHPRA registration without restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience in General Medicine or General Practice.
• Availability for at least 7‑10 rostered hours per week.
• Residency in Australia and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with My Health Records.
• Experience using AI‑assisted medical note‑taking tools.
• Ability to navigate a telehealth platform securely.
• Familiarity with two‑factor authentication and ISMS 27001 security standards.
