Telehandler Operator – Renewable Energy Project

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project. The role involves handling materials and equipment on a remote construction site in Mudgee, NSW, on a 14‑day on / 7‑day off roster.
Key responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers to lift, move and position materials and plant safely across the site.
- Support loading, unloading and placement of components for bulk earthworks and transmission infrastructure.
- Carry out pre‑start checks, routine maintenance and report any defects.
- Coordinate lifts with dogmen, riggers and other crew members.
- Secure loads in accordance with safety standards and site procedures.
- Assist with general site tasks as required while maintaining strict safety compliance.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating telehandlers on civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Valid telehandler ticket/licence (high‑risk licence where required).
- Experience on renewable‑energy projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of rigging or dogging techniques is an advantage.
