Technical Support Technician

About the role

The Technical Support Technician will support the daily operations of Temperzone's Technical Support Department, providing expert assistance to service agents, contractors and consumers for Hitachi and Temperzone products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general and technical support for all Hitachi products in the Australian market via phone, email or fax.
• Assist service agents with spare‑parts selection, commissioning support and fault investigation.
• Liaise with contractors and consumers to ensure seamless support and classification/reuse of returned goods.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions and product seminars on Hitachi equipment.
• Support the warranty team with technical inquiries and evaluate service agents.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in the air‑conditioning industry with strong system‑design knowledge.
• Proven HVAC service, diagnostic and commissioning experience, including system controls and mechanics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a strong customer‑service focus.
• Ability to lead, mentor and share technical knowledge with internal and external partners.
