Technical Sales Support - South Australia

About the role

Daikin Australia is looking for a Technical Sales Support person for South Australia, based in Daikin Park. The role provides technical support to the Sales team and customers so they can select products and develop quotes for projects and tenders. It reports to the State Manager SA.

Key responsibilities

• Review project and product specifications, select the product and provide quotes within the relevant time frames and project parameters.
• Prepare preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or external customers.
• Provide product information such as data and brochures on request, and advise on technical queries.
• Maintain customer relationships to keep customers satisfied.
• Assist Sales staff with project-related calls to and from customers when required.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma, or equivalent, or HVAC trade qualification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Previous experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender specifications.
• Previous experience in HVAC sales, engineering or consultancy.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail, proactive about learning.
