Technical Sales Manager - ESCO Wear Solutions

About the role

A global leader in mining technology and wear solutions is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for a residential position in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As the on-site ESCO representative, you will support existing customers, monitor product performance, identify growth opportunities and defend market share across a portfolio of large surface mining operations in the Goldfields region. This is not a FIFO role; applications for FIFO positions will not be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Support existing customers and act as their trusted technical advisor on ESCO wear products
• Monitor product performance, conduct inspections and deliver performance reports
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce operating costs
• Build strong site relationships and use your existing Goldfields network to influence decisions and drive commercial outcomes
• Travel regularly across customer operations throughout the Goldfields

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the mining industry
• Previous experience in a technical, product support, field service or mining sales support role
• Existing knowledge of ESCO products and applications
• Prior work history in the Kalgoorlie region with established site contacts and industry networks
• Proven experience with bucket inspections, wear analysis and product performance reporting
• Experience working with maintenance, reliability, planning and operational teams

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with ESCO products, GET systems, buckets, lips and wear components
• Understanding of surface mining operations and heavy mobile equipment
• Ability to identify product conversion and market share growth opportunities
• Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills
• Current driver's licence
• Salesforce CRM experience highly regarded
