Technical Program Manager – Defence & Intelligence

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking experienced Technical Program Managers to lead complex Defence and Intelligence programmes across Canberra and Melbourne. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure software, cloud, cyber and data solutions that support Australia’s national security objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of end‑to‑end programmes spanning software, cloud, cyber, ICT, data and mission‑focused technologies.
• Coordinate engineering, development, infrastructure, cyber security, testing and operational stakeholders to align with customer priorities.
• Partner with Defence, Intelligence and National Security customers and program executives to manage planning, governance, risk and performance.
• Shape execution strategies, build high‑performing teams and ensure long‑term customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale technical programmes in Defence, Intelligence or related domains.
• Ability to work across diverse technical disciplines and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong governance, planning and reporting capabilities to keep programmes aligned with strategic priorities.
• Australian citizenship with an active NV2 security clearance (able to obtain TSPV).
