About the role

We are looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Technical IT Support Officer to join our growing technology business in Melbourne. The role offers the chance to develop technical skills across hardware, software and cloud solutions while working in a supportive small team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to customers and reseller partners.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and cloud‑based application issues.
  • Log, track and resolve support tickets.
  • Configure and deploy hardware and software solutions, including mobile devices.
  • Test hardware devices before dispatch and configure mobile applications.
  • Liaise with software vendors and developers to resolve technical problems.
  • Deliver customer onboarding and product training, including occasional on‑site visits.
  • Assist with internal IT systems, backups and network monitoring.

Required profile

  • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems or a related field.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a Help Desk, Service Desk or Technical Support role.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Servers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory (advantageous).
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as VPNs, firewalls and port forwarding.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work both independently and within a small team.
  • Full unrestricted Australian working rights.
