Technical Engineer – Remote Support for Sydney Client

About the role

We are seeking a technically capable and reliable Technical Engineer to join a Sydney‑based client’s team on a remote basis. Working closely with the lead technical engineer, you will support, maintain, and improve existing systems while building deep expertise in the client’s networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead technical engineer in maintaining and enhancing current platforms.
• Debug, monitor, and resolve technical incidents under guidance.
• Operate safely within existing networking and infrastructure environments.
• Document systems, processes, and technical decisions clearly.
• Support deployments, updates, and environment management.
• Provide technical assistance during incidents and contribute to post‑incident reviews.
• Develop expertise in Peplink and Nextivity product solutions.
• Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Solid foundational knowledge of networking and wireless technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Curious, coachable, self‑directed learning mindset.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and consistent in work delivery.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
