Technical Lead - Data Engineering

About the role

Superloop is seeking an experienced Technical Lead for Data Engineering to drive the design, development, and maintenance of its data pipelines and warehouse. You will act as a bridge between analysts and system developers, ensuring data solutions meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient data‑warehouse solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and ingestion workflows to guarantee data accuracy and reliability.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation for analytics and reporting.
• Monitor and optimise data‑warehouse performance, resolving bottlenecks and issues.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance, including encryption, access controls, and audit trails.
• Support Data Analysts by delivering clean, well‑structured data for their analytical needs.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve data‑engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on data warehousing and ETL.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
