About the role
The Technical Director for Ports & Maritime will lead technical delivery on mid‑ to large‑size projects, manage client relationships and drive business development within AECOM’s maritime practice.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide technical expertise for mid‑ to large‑size ports and maritime projects.
- Lead technical client relationships and contribute to sales efforts.
- Grow technical expertise within the discipline department.
- Lead technical business development activities.
- Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs.
- Approve and sign off on project work.
- Offer estimates for engineering budgets and schedules on complex projects.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading technical teams on large infrastructure projects.
- Strong client‑facing and business development skills.
- Ability to approve and sign off on technical deliverables.
- Leadership in one or more technology areas relevant to ports and maritime.
