Team Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

Join Woolworths' Proactive Services team as a hands‑on Team Manager. You will work across multiple stores, ensuring trolleys are available and the environment remains clean and safe for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection and waste management.
• Create and manage rosters to cover all daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities.
• Handle time‑and‑attendance activities, track hours, manage absences and ensure policy compliance.
• Order consumables such as cleaning supplies, maintain inventory within budget.
• Perform core operational duties alongside the team, including cleaning, trolley collection and waste handling.

Required profile

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for retail and people.
• Flexibility to work in various store areas – shop floor, fridges, freezers and car parks.
• Strong eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks.
• Organised approach to ensure team has necessary equipment and supplies.
• Comfortable working within regulated frameworks (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct).
• Valid full Australian driver’s licence (Green P’s or full licence) for trolley collection vehicles.
