Tax Accountant (Public Practice) – Euroa

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and qualified Tax Accountant to join our growing Euroa branch. This permanent, onsite position offers the chance to take ownership of a client portfolio and contribute to the future growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge tax compliance work for companies, including BAS, financial statements and income tax returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of individuals and businesses.
• Drive the success and expansion of the Euroa office.
• Collaborate with colleagues across locations to uphold the firm’s high standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting with CPA or CA qualification (or active enrolment).
• 3‑5+ years of Australian public‑practice tax experience.
• Leadership potential and ambition to progress towards office‑manager or ownership roles.
• Right to work in Australia.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• In‑depth knowledge of Australian taxation legislation.
