Talent Acquisition Specialist – People & Culture

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team. You will partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to design and deliver sourcing strategies that attract the right talent for our health, mines rescue and insurance businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment across a varied portfolio, from briefing to offer.
• Build talent pipelines and maintain relationships with prospective candidates for critical and recurring roles.
• Develop industry networks through professional communities, referrals and targeted outreach.
• Shape and activate our employee value proposition into recruitment content and campaigns.
• Strengthen employer brand via employee stories, career content and social media.
• Use recruitment data and market insights to guide sourcing strategies and measure results.

Required profile

• Demonstrated recruitment experience in insurance, financial services and/or operational environments.
• Strong direct sourcing, talent mapping and passive candidate engagement skills.
• Proven ability to build talent pools, networks and pipelines that lead to successful hires.
• Confidence to advise hiring managers, challenge assumptions constructively and provide market insight.

Required skills

• Experience developing or contributing to Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and employer branding initiatives.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
