Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Early Childhood Education

About the role

MindChamps is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join its new Parramatta office. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process for 19 early learning centres, ensuring the right talent is hired to support our innovative education model.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Centre Directors and HR to identify current and future staffing needs.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: advertise roles, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and perform reference checks.
• Coordinate onboarding, including contracts, offer letters, pre‑employment checks (WWCC, VEVO, police checks), employee profiles, and induction schedules.
• Maintain job postings on SEEK, Indeed, LinkedIn and other platforms while ensuring brand consistency.
• Monitor compliance with the Fair Work Act, privacy legislation and education‑sector awards.
• Track recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness) and report to management.
• Support employer branding through social media, careers page updates and recruitment events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, HR administration or talent acquisition.
• Knowledge of Children Services Award, Teachers Award and compliance requirements such as WWCC, VEVO and ACECQA.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional discretion when handling confidential information.

Required skills

• Experience with Employment Hero (or similar HRIS) preferred.
