Talent Acquisition Advisor

About the role

A leading provider of student accommodation is looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, the role focuses on sourcing, headhunting and attracting high-calibre talent for Finance, Marketing and some corporate roles, while driving a positive candidate experience and continuous improvement across the recruitment function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from job advertising through to offer and onboarding
• Sourcing, headhunting and talent pooling candidates across a variety of corporate disciplines
• Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, vacancy requirements and recruitment strategy
• Conduct phone screenings, coordinate interviews, run reference checks and pre-employment checks
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting through JobAdder and HR systems
• Support employer branding, careers social media channels and candidate engagement initiatives
• Provide recruitment market insights and implement innovative sourcing strategies
• Coach managers on interviewing techniques and recruitment best practice

Required profile

• Extensive recruitment experience across Finance and Marketing
• Strong capability in candidate sourcing, headhunting and talent pooling across multiple platforms
• Proven experience partnering with hiring managers and building stakeholder relationships
• Resource planning and workforce forecasting experience
• Valid National Police Check and unrestricted Australian working rights
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for an exceptional candidate experience

Required skills

• Experience using recruitment systems and maintaining accurate recruitment reporting
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
