Surveyor - Surat Basin Project

About the role

MPK is seeking a Surveyor to join its team on a project in the Surat Basin, Queensland, working a 19:9 roster. Reporting to the Lead Surveyor, you will support all survey operations across the project and work closely with engineering, construction and project management teams so that survey data is accurate, timely and aligned with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Support surveys across multiple pipeline sections
• Act as point of contact for any sub-contracted survey scope if needed
• Help plan and execute survey strategies in line with project requirements
• Carry out field surveys including topographic, construction and as-built surveys
• Prepare detailed survey reports, maps and data sets for project use
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
• Liaise with project engineers, clients and subcontractors

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying
• Ability to work a 19:9 roster in a client-supplied operational camp
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Desire to work in a supportive team, with strong drive and job focus

Required skills

• Desirable: exposure to Trimble GPS equipment, TBC, CAD and ArcGIS packages
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and MSP
