Support Worker - Cleaner

About the role

The Cleaner position is part of the domestic services team at Calvary's The Mariner facility in South West Rocks, which cares for 77 residents near Hat Head National Park. The role is full-time, casual opportunities are available and an immediate start is possible.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules.
• Clean floors by mopping and vacuuming, clean carpets, damp dust, remove cobwebs, clean windows, manage waste, restock supplies and collect soiled linen and clothing as required.
• Complete all cleaning tasks in line with infection control and occupational health and safety requirements, including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Record the completion of cleaning schedule tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, damp dusting and window and high cleaning.
• A strong attention to detail.
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others.
