Support Services Centre Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a results‑driven Support Services Centre (SSC) Manager for its OASIS program in Alice Springs, Australia. You will lead a high‑performing team to deliver critical support services, optimise operations and ensure mission success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day SSC operations, ensuring operational excellence and aligned service delivery.
• Implement and optimise processes and systems to meet program milestones and drive efficiency.
• Build, coach and develop a collaborative high‑performing team.
• Work closely with OASIS program leaders and stakeholders to align SSC activities with organisational goals.
• Analyse performance metrics and KPIs, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with Amentum standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a support services centre or comparable environment.
• Strong expertise in finance, HR, IT or other business support functions.
• Proven track record of managing and mentoring diverse teams.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and work order management tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process‑improvement techniques.
• ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Work order management and CRM tools.
• Data analysis and KPI reporting.
