Commercial Contracts Coordinator (Relief CSC & ESO)

About the role

MacDonnell Regional Council is recruiting a Coordinator for Commercial Contracts, Relief CSC and ESO, based in Alice Springs. The position is full time and fixed term until 30 June 2027, subject to funding extension, with approximately 70% travel to remote communities. It is a competitive salary starting at $93,109 per annum.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the Council's commercial contracts
• Support compliance, reporting and governance requirements
• Assist in planning and delivering projects and operational initiatives
• Provide practical advice and support to the Manager Commercial Services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors and community stakeholders
• Undertake relief duties across CSC and ESO functions as required

Required profile

• Experience in coordination, administration, contracts or project support
• Valid Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa)
• Northern Territory driver's licence (or ability to obtain one)
• Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance) and National Police Clearance
• Willingness to travel regularly to remote communities
