Supply Planning & Inventory Analyst

About the role

Koala is looking for a Supply Planning & Inventory Analyst to own end‑to‑end supply planning and inventory management for a portfolio of products, suppliers and markets. The role blends hands‑on execution with data‑driven analysis and automation to improve inventory outcomes and planning efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Translate demand forecasts into executable supply and replenishment plans and manage purchase orders and inbound supply.
• Identify and resolve stock‑out, excess inventory and supply continuity risks through exception management.
• Use data and analytics to spot supply and inventory risks and develop reporting that improves decision‑making.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives to simplify planning processes and support exception‑based workflows.
• Manage inventory performance across availability, working capital and risk, and develop strategies to reduce excess or obsolete stock.
• Own supply planning for new product launches, transitions, and product exits, ensuring optimal inventory positioning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning or related supply‑chain roles, preferably in consumer goods, e‑commerce or DTC.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, replenishment and supply planning.
• Advanced analytical capability with the ability to turn data into practical actions.
• Proficiency with large operational data sets and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
