Supply Planner - Raw Materials (National Manufacturing Network)

About the role

Vinidex, part of the Aliaxis group, is looking for an experienced Supply Planner - Raw Materials to join its team in Smithfield. Reporting to the Raw Materials Purchasing Manager, you will plan and replenish raw material inventory to support manufacturing across multiple sites, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to balance inventory, service levels and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute raw material supply plans to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Manage purchasing activities and supplier commitments to ensure continuity of supply.
• Coordinate inbound logistics with suppliers, freight forwarders and 3PL providers.
• Monitor inventory performance and optimise replenishment strategies.
• Identify, escalate and mitigate supply risks before they affect operations.
• Analyse demand, inventory and supply trends to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and build strong relationships across Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in supply planning, materials planning, purchasing or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with local and international suppliers and managing supply risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities; high attention to detail.

Required skills

• SAP experience highly regarded.
• APICS/CPIM qualifications highly regarded.
