Merchandise & Demand Planner - Travel Lifestyle Brand

About the role

The Monda Company is a global travel lifestyle brand that creates high-quality souvenirs sold in hundreds of airports and landmarks worldwide. This full-time, high-impact position sits at the heart of its fast-growing business, giving you ownership of sales forecasting, inventory analysis and replenishment planning. You will turn data on sales trends, seasonality and stock into practical decisions, keeping bestsellers available without tying up cash in excess stock.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels, review replenishment needs and flag low stock early, then follow up on incoming orders
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and follow up on timelines, purchase orders, pricing and stock availability
• Handle sales orders accurately and coordinate with the warehouse on picking, packing, stock movement and dispatch
• Keep the inventory system clean and up to date, including item details, stock information, supplier records and operational notes
• Help create and improve standard operating procedures and spot workflow gaps
• Identify repetitive tasks and suggest improvements, and use advanced Excel to analyse data and extend replenishment logic
• Take initiative on new projects, solve problems on the spot, and help with warehouse picking and packing, store launches and other ad-hoc work

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year in operations, inventory planning, demand forecasting or buying; retail experience is a major plus
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Accountancy or a related field
• Detail-oriented, highly organised, proactive and commercially aware
• Willingness to work hands-on in the warehouse and support the business as a startup

Required skills

• Strong Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and structured data; macros are a plus
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems such as Zoho Inventory, SAP, NAV, NetSuite or Cin7
• Familiarity with international shipping and customs regulations
