Supply Chain and Subcontracts Manager

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Subcontracts Manager for a major new defence program in Australia, focusing on strengthening sovereign industrial capability and supply chain resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the supply chain function for a major program, including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Manage delivery of Australian Industry Capability (AIC), Sovereign Sustainment and Supply Chain Industry Development initiatives.
• Lead engagement activities such as supply chain forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor and report on AIC commitments, Australian Content and Employment obligations, and overall supply chain performance.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, industry partners and government stakeholders both locally and internationally.

Required profile

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business, Commerce, Project Management or related field.
• Strong experience managing supply chain and subcontracts, including supplier coordination.
• Solid experience with AIC management and working within Defence, Government or other regulated industries.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
