Subcontracts Specialist

About the role

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to support its Sustainment Operations business unit, managing sourcing and supplier relationships for defence programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with internal stakeholders and maintain existing subcontracts, including negotiating complex variations.
• Manage subcontractor performance, invoicing compliance and reporting.
• Develop sourcing strategies, prepare and execute contract documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with corporate governance policies.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience in contracts management or procurement.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in law, business or commerce (desirable).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of contracting, procurement and their interaction with engineering, logistics and finance.
• Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
