About the role

Join Beca’s Minerals and Metals team in Brisbane as a Study Leader for Minerals Processing. You will drive the growth of the metallurgy service offering, from market engagement and bid leadership to delivering high‑impact studies and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with the market to identify new opportunities.
• Lead bids and develop study methodologies aligned with client and market needs.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships with deep understanding of their strategic drivers.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
• Mentor and develop team members, supporting capability growth and succession planning.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with experience in the minerals processing industry.
• Proven track record delivering technical studies.
• Strong reputation for building trusted client relationships and influencing outcomes.
• Experience leading teams to successful project delivery.

Required skills

• Experience working with gold, copper, lead, zinc and/or nickel projects.
• Background in a consulting environment.
