Structural Technician – Temporary Works

About the role

Join a leading global engineering consultancy as a Structural Technician focused on temporary works. You will support the design and delivery of building and infrastructure projects across South Australia in a hybrid, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and deliver detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure all drafting work meets technical standards, client requirements, and Robert Bird Group quality expectations.
• Manage tight project timescales while maintaining high‑quality output.
• Liaise with engineering teams, external stakeholders, and clients to capture project specifications and details.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years senior structural drafting experience within an engineering design consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Full working rights in Australia.
