About the role

Join Essity's high‑performing procurement team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager – Logistics for Australasia. You will lead sourcing strategies across a complex logistics portfolio, working with local, regional and global stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes and sustainable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business and supply‑chain objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects, competitive tender processes and supplier negotiations.
• Drive cost optimisation, value creation, risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships that support service excellence, innovation and long‑term value.
• Partner with stakeholders across local, regional and global teams to identify opportunities and align priorities.
• Monitor market trends, logistics developments and supplier risks to support informed decision‑making.
• Support deployment of regional and global procurement strategies across Australasia.
• Lead supplier performance management activities to ensure quality, service and operational excellence.
• Contribute to logistics network optimisation and future logistics strategy initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or category management.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable savings, value creation, operational improvements or risk reduction.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence across multiple organisational levels.
• Experience leading supplier negotiations, tender processes and supplier relationship management programmes.
• Strong commercial, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience operating successfully within a large or matrixed organisation.
• Full and ongoing working rights as an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
