Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the role

Australia Post is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape its long-term commercial investment decisions. Reporting to the Senior Strategic & Sourcing Manager and working closely with senior business leaders, Legal, Finance and Procurement stakeholders, you will lead complex sourcing initiatives from strategy through to negotiation and contract execution. The role influences enterprise-wide decisions, drives commercial value and helps build the future procurement capability of Australia Post.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value sourcing initiatives from strategy development through to contract execution.
• Develop sourcing strategies, run market engagement activities and lead commercial evaluations and negotiations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver commercially sound and strategically aligned outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, tools and ways of working while ensuring compliance with governance and procurement frameworks.

Required profile

• Sound experience working in large organisations and complex environments.
• Proactive, hands-on approach, comfortable both developing sourcing strategies and delivering outcomes.
• Ability to build credibility quickly, partner with a diverse range of stakeholders and influence conversations at GM and executive level.
• Collaborative team player who values inclusion and ownership.
