Sales Director - Mid-Market ANZ

About the role

Prophet, an award-winning Australian SaaS platform for marketing mix modelling and decision science, is expanding into APAC and the US. As Sales Director you will lead mid-market sales performance across Australia and New Zealand, reporting to the Senior VP Sales and managing the Sales Manager. You will work closely with the VP of Business Development and Partnerships, the Growth Architect and the Marketing team to turn account intelligence, campaigns and agency relationships into qualified pipeline and signed business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the mid-market sales plan and revenue targets across ANZ, set priority accounts and pipeline requirements, and maintain reliable forecasts
• Lead the full sales cycle, from discovery and demos to proposals and close, and run value-based negotiations
• Build and scale an account-based sales engine and work with Marketing on ABM, lead generation, nurture and campaigns
• Convert agency, media owner, technology and referral relationships into business, and build your own network of brand and agency decision-makers
• Manage and coach the Sales Manager, including deal reviews, onboarding, product knowledge and playbooks
• Support renewals, expansions and handovers with Customer Success, and keep HubSpot data and forecasts accurate
• Use AI and automation for account research, personalisation, follow-up and proposals, and share product and market insight with leadership

Required profile

• A proven record of winning mid-market business and delivering against revenue targets
• Experience managing and coaching salespeople while remaining effective in personal selling
• Credibility across the ANZ marketing, media and advertising ecosystem, with relationships among brand and agency decision-makers
• Open to leaders from SaaS, MarTech, data, analytics, media and agency backgrounds; direct agency experience is welcome
