Stores Person – Sheet Metal Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Stores Person to support our sheet‑metal manufacturing operations on the day shift. You will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring timely dispatch of finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods.
• Maintain organised storage areas and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Prepare dispatch documentation and coordinate daily shipments.
• Perform quality assurance checks on inbound and outbound items.
• Assist with sorting, packing and recycling of materials.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to meet manufacturing needs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in sheet‑metal manufacturing environments.
• Current Australian work authorization.
• Valid LF (counterbalance) forklift licence.
• Physically fit for lifting and moving materials.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to WHS standards.
