Storeperson / Warehouse Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

RISSafety, an Australian-owned company that designs, manufactures and supplies height safety access and fall protection solutions, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Storeperson / Warehouse Assistant in Findon. The position is part-time, Monday to Friday, 6:45 am to 1:00 pm, with immediate start available. It suits someone with warehouse experience who wants to join a friendly, established team.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks (no heavy lifting required)
• Receipting and storage of goods, checking quantities and placing them in the correct assigned location
• Liaising with suppliers as required
• Picking and dispatching goods, including packing and labelling
• Customer service and data entry
• Maintaining the warehouse, keeping it clean and tidy
• Assisting in the manufacturing of goods
• Following all safety procedures

Required profile

• Current forklift and driver's licence
• Strong knowledge and experience in warehousing operations
• Passion for customer service, accuracy and delivering excellence
• Previous experience in warehouse and logistics
• Working rights in Australia
• Fit and able to lift a repetitive load of 10-15 kg

Required skills

• Experience with barcode scanning is advantageous
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
