Storeperson (Permanent Part-Time)

About the role

Bega Group's Salisbury site in Adelaide's northern suburbs manufactures more than 78 milk and milk-based products and distributes them mainly across South Australia and the Northern Territory, as well as NSW and Victoria. Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, this permanent part-time storeperson role keeps the dry goods store running effectively, efficiently and on time, delivering products safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost with minimal waste. The position is Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Safely unload, receive and store raw materials and ingredients in line with site safety standards and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Supply materials to production and packaging areas accurately and on time to support the production schedule.
• Complete safety, quality and production documentation accurately, complying with GMP, HACCP and site procedures.
• Operate forklifts safely while keeping accurate inventory transactions and stock records in SAP.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, report safety and maintenance issues promptly and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Current forklift licence.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Sound understanding of workplace safety, GMP, HACCP and quality requirements.
• Competent computer skills, strong communication, teamwork and time management, and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Right to live and work in Australia; a pre-employment medical is required and a current Australian driver's licence is needed.
