Storeperson - Defence Theatre Logistics

About the role

Toll Group is expanding its Government and Defence portfolio through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract and is looking for a Storeperson in Laverack. You will be the backbone of site operations, keeping warehouse processes efficient, safe and compliant while supporting Defence personnel with equipment, supplies and materials. The role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with Team Leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and act on reports.
• Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness and compliance with Defence regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to meet operational targets.

Required profile

• Australian citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (baseline level or higher, depending on role).
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including criminal history, medical and other background assessments.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics or related fields is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
• Valid C class driver's licence.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
• Strong teamwork, communication and attention to detail, with strong time management in a fast-paced environment.
