Storeperson - Defence Theatre Logistics

About the role

Toll Group is expanding its Government and Defence portfolio through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract and is looking for a Storeperson (Grade 2) to join its Defence logistics and warehousing team. Based at Robertson Barracks in Holtze, Northern Territory, the role supports warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling and the safe movement of Defence-related equipment and materials. It is open to Australian citizens only, as candidates must complete and pass a Government security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and process reports
• Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness and compliance with Defence regulations
• Work under the supervision of the Team Leader, reporting to the Operations Manager

Required profile

• Australian citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence security clearance (baseline level or higher)
• Valid C class driver's licence
• Current NV 1 security clearance
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including criminal history and medical assessments
• Experience in warehousing, logistics or related fields is desirable but not essential
• Physical fitness for manual handling and outdoor delivery of stores to defence personnel

Required skills

• Forklift licence (current or willingness to obtain one)
• Warehouse management system (WMS) use
