Store Manager - Moonee Ponds

About the role

ALDI is hiring a Store Manager for its Moonee Ponds store. You will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store and for managing and leading a team, driving sales targets and developing a close-knit team through training, coaching and formal feedback and performance reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the store running smoothly, safe and clean, and uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness
• Manage stock and inventory and minimise losses
• Work with the team on registers, filling shelves and merchandising special buys when needed
• Identify opportunities for improvement and manage resources effectively to hit goals without compromising quality
• Conduct interviews for potential new team members to help the Area Manager select the right people

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Leadership skills to motivate, mentor and guide a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster collaboration and inclusion
• Goal-oriented mindset, adaptability and decision-making under pressure
• Professional, fair and responsible approach

What we offer

• Remuneration of $125,100 - $164,400 per year, including superannuation and predicted bonuses, varying by location, hours and experience
• 45-hour-per-week contract with a flexible rotating roster including weekends and early mornings
