Store Manager – Lead a Retail Team

About the role

ALDI is looking for a Store Manager to lead its Ararat store, delivering a "good different" experience for customers while driving sales and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and merchandising.
• Lead, train, coach and conduct performance reviews for a close‑knit team.
• Manage inventory, minimise losses and oversee stock replenishment.
• Participate on the shop floor – operating registers, stocking shelves and setting up special buys.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement ideas to boost performance.
• Interview and select new team members in partnership with the Area Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and people‑development skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Adaptability to changing circumstances and sound decision‑making under pressure.
