About the role
A modern local-manufacturing operation in Dubbo, New South Wales, is looking for a stonemason to fabricate and install benchtops for residential and commercial projects using state-of-the-art machinery. The position is full time and permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate and install benchtops for residential and commercial projects
- Cut, shape and polish stone with machinery and hand tools
- Measure, glue and manufacture custom stone products
- Work on custom-designed kitchens and stone projects
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and team members
- Maintain compliance with site safety
Required profile
- Stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience
- Installation experience in commercial and residential work
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read plans and measurements
Required skills
- Stone cutting, shaping and polishing with machinery and hand tools
- Reading plans and measurements
- CNC bridge saw or waterjet experience desirable
