About the role
The State Account Manager will drive sustainable sales growth and profitability across key independent retail customers such as Ritchies, FoodWorks and Metcash state offices. Acting as the primary commercial interface between Ferrero and these customers, you will execute national and state strategies while adapting to local market needs.
Key responsibilities
- Implement Ferrero business strategies with assigned customers, applying a triple‑win approach for consumers, customers and Ferrero.
- Load accurate accruals into SAP TM and complete SAP TM claims on time.
- Build strong partnerships through regular meetings, support senior colleagues and present at range reviews.
- Lead negotiations on case deals, pricing and activation activities.
- Negotiate cost‑price adjustments with wholesalers and retailers when required.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to deliver accurate forecasts and ensure product availability.
- Prepare and execute field activation briefs for key initiatives.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.
Required profile
- University degree.
- Relevant experience in account management, sales or a related field.
- Basic understanding of market dynamics, retailer operations and merchandising.
- Strong time‑management, analytical and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP TM.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms.
