Staff Engineer – Agentic Solutions & Reusable Platforms

About the role

Rimini Street is looking for a Staff Engineer to lead the creation of reusable, agentic AI solutions for enterprise ERP systems. The role is remote within Australia or New Zealand and reports to the Group Vice President of Innovation Solution Delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reusable components in customer builds and turn them into frameworks, libraries, integration patterns and reference implementations.
• Own reference architecture and engineering patterns for agentic AI on SAP, Oracle E‑Business Suite and major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Architect and prototype new agentic solutions, prove them on real customer problems and transition successful prototypes to production‑grade components.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, SDLC processes and release criteria across global engineering centres.
• Mentor and review engineers across multiple locations, raising design and code quality.

Required profile

• 10+ years building and operating production software, with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Deep hands‑on ERP experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite or SAP in live customer environments.
• Experience in regulated domains such as finance, payroll, tax or e‑invoicing.
• Proven ability to turn bespoke work into reusable assets adopted by other teams.
• Strong independent judgment, including halting releases on quality or risk grounds.

Required skills

• Oracle E‑Business Suite integration: PL/SQL, Integrated SOA Gateway, REST, Oracle Application Framework, workflow.
• SAP integration: ABAP, BAPI/RFC, IDoc, OData.
• Agentic AI / LLM solution design: tool contracts, retrieval, evaluation, human‑in‑the‑loop control.
• CI/CD and release engineering: branching strategy, versioning, environment promotion, quality gating.
• Specification‑driven development, design review, test strategy (unit, integration, contract).
