S&S Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Aspley, QLD)

About the role

The S&S Banking Consultant role supports customers through face‑to‑face interactions and inbound/outbound calls, handling everyday banking enquiries, account openings and related processes. You will work in a digital‑focused environment, helping customers transition to online banking and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer‑obsessed service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
• Provide accurate information on everyday banking enquiries, account openings and processes via phone or online channels.
• Educate and support customers in using digital banking platforms, encouraging self‑service.
• Assist with digital onboarding, ensuring new customers have a smooth experience.
• Listen actively, build trust and ask the right questions to exceed expectations and improve NPS outcomes.
• Contribute to a balanced team culture focused on people, customers, risk and performance.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation, FSRA requirements and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience delivering high‑quality customer service, preferably in a banking or financial services setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and build trust with customers.
• Commitment to learning digital engagement tools and adapting to new technologies.
