Speech Pathologist – Paediatrics, Early Intervention

About the role

A First Nations-owned and operated allied health provider, offering culturally safe, trauma-informed care across Victoria and the Northern Territory, is recruiting a Speech Pathologist. The role supports children with FASD, ASD, ADHD and GDD through a paediatric caseload delivered flexibly at home, school, early learning centres, clinic or telehealth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver therapy to children with FASD, ASD, ADHD and GDD using a trauma-informed, culturally aware approach
• Work with a caseload tailored to your interests and scope, with no mismatched referrals
• Reach out to rural and remote communities such as Alice Springs, Tiwi Islands, Tennant Creek and Maningrida
• Take part in cultural safety training and on-country days; the caseload includes 50% First Nations clients

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPA)
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Driver's licence and own vehicle

What we offer

• Salary from $90,000 to $115,000 plus superannuation depending on experience
• 15% bonus after 24.5 billable hours per week, plus a $5,000 annual car allowance
• Work laptop and phone provided, and a $1,500 professional development allowance plus 2 PD days
• 2 mental health days per year, parental leave bonus of 10 weeks base salary, and up to 2 years of unpaid leave with a guaranteed return
• Service agreements, booking and billing handled by the team, weekly supervision and ongoing clinical support
