Speech Pathologist

About the role

Ability Action Australia, a national NDIS provider delivering allied health support in over 300 locations across Australia, is seeking Speech Pathologists to join its team. You will deliver therapeutic services to participants in schools, homes and community settings, building and managing an allocated caseload while maintaining clinical excellence and NDIS compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage an allocated caseload, delivering therapy in line with timelines and clinical protocols
• Conduct clinical observations and standardised assessments, analyse findings and set evidence-based treatment goals for each participant
• Deliver interventions based on current best practice and monitor progress against goals
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, progress notes and participant records in line with regulatory standards
• Keep service delivery aligned with NDIS requirements and organisational policies, adjusting interventions to optimise outcomes
• Educate families and caregivers with strategies to support therapeutic goals in everyday settings
• Advocate for participants' needs and rights and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues

Required profile

• Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Speech Pathologist experience beyond graduation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
• Proactive attitude, genuine passion for the disability sector and desire for a collaborative, supportive workplace
