About the role

Join Aspect’s leading autism‑specific school program as a Special Education Teacher. You will create a supportive, evidence‑informed learning environment for students on the autism spectrum, working alongside dedicated teacher aides and a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver individualized learning programs aligned with evidence‑based autism practices.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate daily with teacher aides, families, school psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings.
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates each student’s strengths.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a valid teaching registration.
• Experience or strong interest in autism education and evidence‑based interventions.
• Commitment to student‑centred, family‑focused practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
