Sonographer

About the role

Lumus Imaging is recruiting a Sonographer to join a close-knit clinic team in Dubbo, Western NSW, delivering high-quality ultrasound services to the local community and the wider region. The clinic offers full-time and part-time positions with flexible hours, and the caseload spans general, MSK, obstetric and vascular ultrasound, tailored to your skills and interests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations with care and clinical excellence.
• Work closely with radiologists to deliver accurate, timely results.
• Provide a warm, reassuring experience for patients who may be anxious or unwell.
• Collaborate with radiographers, reception and support staff to keep the clinic running smoothly.
• Maintain high standards of image quality, documentation and patient safety.

Required profile

• ASAR accreditation (or eligibility) and a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
• Confidence across general ultrasound; skills in obstetric, MSK or vascular imaging are highly regarded.
• New graduates with strong clinical placements are encouraged to apply.
• A warm, professional manner and genuine care for the patient experience.
