Solutions Engineer

About the role

Auror is expanding its recognition technology portfolio and needs a Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between customers and our License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Subject Recognition (ASR) solutions. You will work directly with prospects and existing clients, translating their needs into technical designs, demos, and successful deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical subject‑matter expert on sales calls, handling deep‑dives, objections, and product questions for LPR and ASR.
• Conduct discovery sessions to assess customer environments, infrastructure, and integration requirements.
• Scope solutions, produce technical documentation, implementation plans, and integration guides.
• Design and manage proof‑of‑concepts, set success criteria, and report outcomes.
• Provide ongoing technical advisory, guiding customers through expansions, hardware placement, network configuration, and data handling.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Technical Project Management to feed feedback into road‑maps and ensure smooth hand‑offs.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in technical pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or implementation with facial recognition, LPR, CCTV, or physical security technologies.
• Ability to discuss IT infrastructure, Linux fundamentals, and hardware compatibility at a high level.
• Structured problem‑solving approach and comfort with ambiguity and multiple concurrent opportunities.
• Strong commitment to privacy, ethical AI use, and responsible data handling.
• Self‑starter attitude with a focus on improving documentation and processes.
