About the role
CMSN Group Pty Ltd delivers technology solutions covering enterprise software, AI, cloud computing, managed IT services, robotics, networking, cybersecurity and custom software. It is looking for a Solutions Consultant in Sydney to work closely with clients, understand their business challenges and design technology solutions that deliver measurable value. The consultant acts as the bridge between clients and technical teams, identifying needs, recommending solutions, preparing proposals, running product demos and supporting project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business processes, challenges and objectives
- Analyse business requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions
- Run discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions
- Prepare solution proposals, scope documents and technical presentations
- Deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions
- Collaborate with developers, project managers and infrastructure teams to design tailored solutions
- Help prepare project estimates, implementation plans and timelines
- Support pre-sales activities, including RFP and tender responses
- Give technical guidance during implementation and client onboarding
- Build long-term client relationships and identify upsell opportunities
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Business Analysis, Pre-Sales or Enterprise Software Consulting
- Strong understanding of business processes and digital transformation
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Required skills
- Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRM, POS or eCommerce platforms
- Experience preparing business proposals, technical documentation and solution architecture diagrams
- Nice to have: Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud; AI, automation, IoT or robotics; APIs and integrations; CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or HubSpot; Agile or Scrum; enterprise clients across multiple industries
