Software Engineer – Playwright & TypeScript (Sydney)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer based in Sydney to join our development team. The role focuses on building high‑quality web applications using Playwright and TypeScript, while supporting CI/CD and DevSecOps initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Apply solid software engineering principles such as SOLID, DRY and composition over inheritance.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (UI, integration, unit) using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript or JavaScript code for new features and bug fixes.
• Design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines, leveraging GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to adopt DevSecOps practices, manage dependencies and remediate security issues.

Required profile

• Valid Australian visa with full work rights.
• Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Background in .NET/C# or Java is a plus.
