Software Engineer - Fund Services Development

About the role

A fast-growing, ASX-listed financial services company, which is the largest outsourced fund administration company in Australia, is hiring a Software Engineer for its Sydney Fund Services Development team. The role sits in a small, highly skilled development team and covers technical specifications, coding and unit testing plans, and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce technical specifications, coding plans and unit testing plans that comply with company standards and align with the traceability matrix and functional specification.
• Ensure the full software development lifecycle complies with company standards.
• Drive process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience developing complex, large-scale backend or mission-critical systems.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and efficient time management.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams.
• 5+ years of C# and/or VB.NET software development experience covering analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation.
• Full SDLC experience.

Required skills

• C# and/or VB.NET (5+ years)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Java is highly regarded
• Ability to use a wide range of IT tools to solve problems and improve processes
